According to dictionary.com, Love is defined "a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person; a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child or friend." According to 1 Corinthians 13:4, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails."
Love so many things. It is everything. It is what we feel for one another. There are always different types of love as well as many levels of it, too. It is the 8th wonder of the world. It is one of life's many mysteries. Just when you think you have figured it out, you realize something new about it. It is never-ending, over-flowing. It is constant, but also conditional. It is timeless and precious. It is fragile, but strong. It is ugly, yet so unsurprisingly mesmerizing. It is what we call crave, but so daringly hate. We love to hate it and hate to love it. Love is the other woman in our life, the mistress, the one you just cannot live with or live without. Love is engrained in our DNA, in our humanity. Love brings out the best in us and the worst in us. It is a controversy, a hypocrisy, in of itself. This list could go on and on. However, one thing remains the unaltered... Love Never Fails!
